Implementing a customized home page template

To implement a customized home page template, see Customizing homepages with HomePages.zip. In addition to those steps, follow this procedure:

  1. Locate the HomePages.zip file and extract it to the desktop.
    1. Access KB1967973 on Infor Customer Portal.
    2. Click the Configurable Home Page Files link and select the release.
    3. Click Attachments.
    4. Click the download icon.
    5. Optionally, repeat these steps for Configurable Home Page Image Files.
      These images are only needed to preview the available SVG icons.
  2. When you open the template in a text editor and make changes, ensure that the EmployeeSelfServiceLite webapp is pointing to your chosen template.
    The default is custom home page is EmployeeLiteWelcome.html. See Common template customizations for samples of the types of changes you can make to your chosen template.
  3. If you are using Infor OS Portal, then enable the customized home page for a specific application.
    1. Click the Profile menu icon, then click Admin Settings.
    2. Double-click the application you would like to use the customized home page for.
    3. Click the Custom Parameters tab.
    4. Set the value for the CHP field to the name of the customized home page.
  4. Switch to the Employee Preview role and ensure that your changes have been applied.
    You may need to sign out and sign in to see the changes.
