Transferring employees to another session

Learning administrators, local learning administrators, and instructors can transfer employees to a different session.

Employees are re-enrolled to the activity that is withdrawn, waived, or canceled when they are transferred to another session.

  1. Select Catalog > Activities and Sessions.
  2. Select an activity and open an active session.
  3. Click the Registrations tab.
  4. Select an employee or employees.
  5. Right-click and select Transfer To A Different Session.
    You can only transfer employees to another session if there are other active sessions within the activity that still have capacity or waitlist is allowed.
  6. Specify this information:
    Session
    Select the session in which to transfer the employee.
    Retain Current Status
    Select the check box to keep the current status of the session.
    New Status
    Specify a new status to keep as the employee's status in the new session.
  7. Click Submit.

    Once an employee is transferred from one session to another, they receive an email containing the details of both the previous and the new sessions.

    Note: For employees with the Requested status in the new session, the registration requests are sent to the employee's manager or learning administrator depending on how the new session is configured.
