Defining online content player settings

Use this process to define global online player settings. To define the player settings for individual activities, use the Online Content tab within the activity.

  1. Select Learning and Development > Set Up > Configuration > Online Content Player.
  2. Specify this information:
    Launch Settings
    Player Launch Type
    Select the player window launch type.
    Content Object Launch Type
    Specify New Window.
    Prevent Window Resize
    Select this option to prevent users from resizing the player window..
    Prompt on Player Close
    Select this option to prompt users to confirm exiting the player.
    Show Navigation Bar
    Select this option to display the navigation bar.
    Show "Return to Learning and Development" Button
    Select this option to display Learning and Development button.
    Allow Previous and Next Navigation
    Select this option to enable previous and next course navigation.
    Show Progress Bar
    Select this option to display the course progress bar.
    Show Title Bar
    Select this option to display the course title bar.
    Miscellaneous
    Player Header Logo Image URL
    Specify the URL for the player header logo image.
    Privacy Policy URL
    Specify privacy policy URL
    Launch Link Expiration Minutes
    Specify the number of minutes for the launch link expiration.
  3. Click Save.
