Creating primary care physician codes

  1. Select Benefits > Set Up > Primary Care Physician Codes.
  2. Click Create.
  3. Specify a code and a description for the primary care physician.
  4. Complete the Contact, Classification, and Address sections.
    Note: 

    This data is used for the HIPAA 834 Transactions.

  5. The Active status check box is selected by default. Clear the check box to inactivate it.
  6. Click Save.
