Plan transfer actions

When you complete a plan transfer:

• The Transfer To Resource Plan record is created or updated.
• The Transfer From Resource Plan record Accrual End Date and Transfer fields are updated, if applicable.
• Transactions are created for the Transfer To Resource Plan for balances that are transferred.
  • Transactions are created with a Transaction Type of Transfer xxxx, where xxxx is the applicable balance type for that record.
  • The Balance Types are Accrual, Allotment, Available, Reserve, or Carryover.
  • The status of these transactions is Unprocessed.
• If applicable, transactions are created for the Transfer From Resource Plan to Zero Balances. The Zero Balance transactions are created with the same details as described above for the balances transferred Transactions.
• The Pending Transfer To Absence Plan record status is changed to Processed.
• If applicable, transactions are created to transfer History Detail.
  • Copies of the closed transactions for the From Resource Plan are made for the To Resource Plan.
  • These transactions are created with a Transaction Type of Transfer xxxx, where xxxx is the applicable balance type for that record.
  • The Balance Types are Accrual, Allotment, Available, Reserve, or Carryover.
  • The status of these transactions is Transferred.
  • Offsetting transactions are created for each balance type so that the net total of the historical transactions on the To Resource Plan is zero.
  • The offsetting transactions have a status of Transferred.
  • The description on these transactions is History Transfer Offset.
