Adding tasks and users

In IPA, a task represents users who perform a specific function.

You can create a task named BirstSystemAdmin. This task manages replication and Birst orchestration. You can add existing users to the IPA system and assign users to this task. Users belonging to this task receives inbasket and email notifications for every work unit that requires user action. To access Process Server Administrator, users must have the Admin_ST security role that is assigned in Infor OS Portal.

  1. Open Infor OS Portal’s navigation menu.
  2. In the Applications, select HR Talent.
  3. Go to Integration Architect > Analytics Console > Console Setup.
  4. Click Create Birst System Admin Tasks Group.

    The BirstSystemAdmin Task Name in Process Server Administrator > User Configuration > Tasks is created.

  5. Click Add User in Birst System Admin Group.

    This opens the Tasks page.

  6. Select and click the BirstSystemAdmin task.
  7. In User Tasks, click Create.
  8. In the User field, click search.
  9. Select the name of the user to be added.
  10. Click Save.
  11. If user is not found on the list, click the ellipsis, and select Edit Mode.
    1. Click Create.
    2. In the User field, click search.
    3. Select a user.
    4. Click Save.
    5. Retry steps 6-9.
    If you disabled the System Administration Consolidated WebApp in Setting up security configuration for IONAPI in HRT, enable the feature by searching for Feature Toggle and right-clicking System Administration Consolidated Webapp. Click Enable Features.
