The Update ION Schemas workflow

Business classes can be added or updated for every HRT update. These updates require you to register the changes to the data catalog and update the connection point and data lake flow.

These procedures are performed when you run the Update ION Schemas workflow:

• Register all schemas in the replication sets
• Update documents in the connection point. This step only applies if there are replication sets with the Data Destination set to IMS. Otherwise, skip this step.
• Recreate the Data Lake flow. This step only applies if there are replication sets with the Data Destination set to IMS. Otherwise, skip this step.

Before you can run the Update ION Schemas workflow, ensure that these processes are completed:

• Setting up IPA in the tenant

  See Set up IPA for HRT Analytics

• Turning off the async replication sets schedule. Verify that existing schedules for the replication sets are turned off. The registration of schemas fails if there are replication sets that are in progress.
