Creating an ION API backend service and downloading the ionapi file

  1. Open Infor OS Portal’s navigation menu.
  2. In the Applications, select OS > API Gateway.
  3. Create an ION API backend service.
    1. Select Authorized Apps.
    2. Select Add New App.
    3. Specify this information:
      Name
      Specify Birst.
      Type
      Specify Backend Service.
      Description
      Specify Birst API.
    4. Click Issue Refresh Tokens.
    5. Click Save.
  4. Download the ionapi file.
    1. Scroll and click Download Credentials.
    2. Click Create Service Account.
    3. Specify the user name of your administrator user.
    4. Click DOWNLOAD.
