Upgrading Active spaces directly
This alternative process directly upgrades the active spaces for Analytics Upgrade and makes the spaces unavailable to end users until the upgrade is completed.
- Open Infor OS Portal’s navigation menu.
- In the Applications, select HR Talent.

Go to Integration Architect > Analytics Console > Analytics Upgrade.
If Integration Architect is not visible, go to System Administrator > Integrations > Analytics > Upgrade.
- Select Upgrade Active Spaces Directly.
- Click Proceed with this upgrade process.

In Step 1, Upgrade Active Spaces:
- Click Refresh Product Version to check current versions for the SMD and ATC spaces.
- Click Start Active Environment Upgrade to proceed. This performs the copy of SMD to ATC spaces.
- Confirm that the work unit status is completed.
- Click Next.

In Step 2, Restore From Backup Spaces:

Confirm that you have completed the merge for your content and model
extensions to the active environment.
Note: Merging of model extensions must be done manually. For content extensions, see Running HR Talent Analytics Upgrade Automation – Copy Consumer Customization workflow.
- Click Next.

In Step 3, Stand Up Active Space:
- Click Refresh Product Version to check updated version of the Active Environment (ATC).
- Ensure that Extract Start Date parameter has been setup in Analytics Configurations.
- Click Load Data to Active Spaces to run the Data Flow to Analytics Full Load for the ATC spaces.
- In Upgrade Status, validate status of the work unit.
