Upgrading Active spaces directly

This alternative process directly upgrades the active spaces for Analytics Upgrade and makes the spaces unavailable to end users until the upgrade is completed.

  1. Open Infor OS Portal’s navigation menu.
  2. In the Applications, select HR Talent.
  3. Go to Integration Architect > Analytics Console > Analytics Upgrade.

    If Integration Architect is not visible, go to System Administrator > Integrations > Analytics > Upgrade.

  4. Select Upgrade Active Spaces Directly.
  5. Click Proceed with this upgrade process.
  6. In Step 1, Upgrade Active Spaces:
    1. Click Refresh Product Version to check current versions for the SMD and ATC spaces.
    2. Click Start Active Environment Upgrade to proceed. This performs the copy of SMD to ATC spaces.
    3. Confirm that the work unit status is completed.
    4. Click Next.
  7. In Step 2, Restore From Backup Spaces:
    1. Confirm that you have completed the merge for your content and model extensions to the active environment.
      Note:  Merging of model extensions must be done manually. For content extensions, see Running HR Talent Analytics Upgrade Automation – Copy Consumer Customization workflow.
    2. Click Next.
  8. In Step 3, Stand Up Active Space:
    1. Click Refresh Product Version to check updated version of the Active Environment (ATC).
    2. Ensure that Extract Start Date parameter has been setup in Analytics Configurations.
    3. Click Load Data to Active Spaces to run the Data Flow to Analytics Full Load for the ATC spaces.
  9. In Upgrade Status, validate status of the work unit.
