Viewing the log
The Document Administration log shows IDM transactions, both error and non-error. It is intended for troubleshooting purposes only.
Log entries are created and filtered in various ways:
- Log entries are created for all IDM transactions when the Enable Log feature is enabled for the organization.
- Only errors are logged when the Enable Log feature is not enabled.
- Log entries can be filtered by Actor, Source, Process, Log, File Name, Time Created, Type, and Error options.
- Log entries can be sorted by Most Recently Created (default), Actor, File Name, and Source options.
- Log entries older than 30 days are automatically deleted.
Each successful IDM transaction has multiple log entries. Users can delete log entries.
