Overview

Customers can securely manage documents that were created in HR Talent, storing and managing documents in IDM Private Space instead of in the HR Talent database.

  • View list of documents across multiple document sources

Document Management and Behaviors

  • Documents are added to IDM Private Space through HR Talent. They are batch loaded to HR Talent using HR Talent data load programs. Documents are uploaded to their application areas in HR Talent and based on configuration, the documents are sent to IDM Private Space by default.
  • When documents are updated, they are changed in their respective application areas and then loaded from that business class to IDM Private Space. When documents are deleted from HR Talent, they are removed from IDM private space.
  • Documents that are selected for viewing are streamed from IDM before they are presented to users.
  • Use Documents to return a list of documents that match filter criteria, based on metadata. This metadata is created as documents are sent to IDM Private Space. HR Talent security is used so that only documents that the individual is allowed to view are returned.

Status Tracking and Errors

  • The Document Administrator Log is available for document administrators to troubleshoot and find more details of issues.
  • The Document Administrator Errors page shows unresolved errors that the administrator reviews and resolves.
