Searching for text within documents
Document administrators can search for documents in IDM Private Space that contain specific search terms or text strings. Historical search entries that are older than 30 days are purged daily.
- Select System Administration > Documents > Quick Links > Text Search.
- Click Create.
-
Specify this information:
- Text
- Specify text or search terms.
- Result Limit
- Optionally, specify the number of results to override the result limit that was configured for the organization. If the limit is set to a value that is higher than the organization-level setting, then performance can be affected.

- Single Document Source

- Specify Multiple Sources

- To confirm the search result is correct, click the file link to open the file and look for the search text.
- To view document details, double-click the document row.
