Adding transition tasks to or creating new transition tasks for a candidate's or resource's instance of a transition program
Administrators who have appropriate security settings can add tasks to a candidate’s or resource’s individual instance of a transition program. Tasks are added from the dashboard. They can also create new tasks from the dashboard. They can assign them to a candidate’s or resource’s individual instance of a transition program. In other words, users who can add and edit transition programs and tasks can customize a candidate’s or resource’s transition program. They do this by adding a task from the system or by creating a new task. Then they and add it only to that candidate’s or resource’s instance of the transition program.
This feature is useful under these circumstances:
- a candidate or resource was mistakenly excluded from eligibility for a program, or
- there is an error in a transition program trigger and the candidate or resource is not assigned the program
A task that is manually added assumes the status of Assigned or Waiting on Dependency, depending on the method by which it is set up. In some instances the status of manually added tasks is displayed as Pending. If this occurs, then select to assess the status of all pending tasks and assign them appropriately.
