Transitioning resources

Candidates who have been hired become resources. They are eligible for transition programs that your organization has configured. Transition programs for resources can focus on hires, transfers, promotions, rehires, resignations, and terminations. When a recruiter or manager initiates one of these actions, a transition program that your organization has configured is triggered. An email notification is sent to the resource. The email contains a link and self-service sign-in credentials to a resource landing page, which contains links to the transition programs. The resource can use the links to access the transition programs.

When the action is initiated, transition program due dates are calculated in the system. Email notifications that were configured to be sent when a resource begins a program are sent when one of these events occurs, based on configuration:

  • the program is initiated
  • a task is assigned
  • a task is completed
  • a task is at risk
  • or a task is past due

As the resource progresses through the transition programs, status is updated in the system and shown in multiple areas of Transition Management. Recruiters, managers and administrators can monitor resources collectively and individually.

Some tasks can have automatic notifications attached to them. These notifications can inform resources or administrators of next steps or provide them with other direction. When the resource or administrator completes such a task, notifications are sent to the designated audiences.

Your system might be configured to send at-risk notifications to resources or administrators when tasks are immediately pending or past due.
