Initiating transition programs from the dashboard

Administrators who have appropriate security settings can manually assign transition programs to candidates or resources from the dashboard. Recruiters who have appropriate security settings can initiate transition programs for candidates only.

This feature is useful when an administrator or recruiter is viewing the dashboard and determines an additional transition program is required. This usually happens because a program was not triggered for a candidate or resource.

  1. From the dashboard, select a transition program.
  2. Click the menu at the top of the list of transition programs and select Create.
  3. Specify this information:
    Transition Program
    Specify the transition program. The default is to the transition program that is selected on the dashboard. You can change this to another program.
    Employee ID
    This field is available if the transition program is for resources. Specify the resource for whom the program is being initiated.
    Candidate
    This field is available if the transition program is for candidates. Specify the candidate for whom the program is being initiated.
    Work Assignment
    This field is available if the transition program is for resources. Specify the work assignment for the resource.
    Job Requisition
    This field is available if the transition program is for candidates. Specify the job requisition for the candidate. Only job applications in the Applied state can be specified. Attached applications cannot be used for transition programs.
  4. Click OK.
