Document templates

Document Templates are used to store predefined pdfs. Predefined pdfs are mapped to fields so that when the pdf is opened from the application, the fields are completed. Document Templates are linked to forms and only some forms use them. The Transition Management Document Template record is delivered as content but the pdf that it references must be manually loaded. For upgrades, if the pdf has changed it must be deleted and reloaded. Sometimes you must change the pdf, which requires a new pdf to be loaded into the client site. For example, when there is a government change to the Form W-4.
