Creating a task that assigns a Learning and Development activity

Learning and Development and Transition Management must be enabled at the organization level.

Administrators can use activities from Learning and Development as transition program tasks.

An employee can complete the activity when the task is available in the transition program. Depending on activity settings in L&D, the employee might be able to mark the activity complete. Launch settings for each activity are specified in Learning and Development.

Activities that are assigned to employees through transition programs are available to the employees on the Growth page. An activity becomes available to an employee when the transition program is assigned.

The creation of a task that requires two components:

  • a transition form that specifies the Learning and Development activity: this form can be used in more than one tasks and programs
  • a task that specifies the form: you can then add the task to a transition program

    Audience
    Specify Resource.
    Task Type
    Specify Learning and Development Activity.
    Form
    Specify the form that was created for the activity.
