Creating a new transition email template

Click Create.

Specify this information:
- Email Template
- Provide a name and description for the
template.
- Active
- The email template is available in the system by default.
To deactivate the template, clear the check box.
- Template Type

- Candidate: Select this option when the
email template is for candidates.
- Resource: Select this option when the
email template is for employees.
- Image URL
- You can add an image to a template. If the template
includes an image, then specify the URL of the image that is used in the
template.
- Preferred Email Language
- You can select the language to translate the email to for
the recipients. If this field is blank, then the organization's base language is
used.
- To
- Specify one or more recipients to for the email. You can
specify actual email addresses or you can select variables that are replaced by the
person's email addresses in context of the action. To specify a variable, press crtl
andright-click in the field, then click . The variable that you select is shown
inside curly braces. For example, {HiringManager}. Separate multiple variables with
commas.
- CC
- If you want the email to be copied (CC) to email
addresses, you can add email addresses and variables. To add an email address, type
the email address. To specify a variable, press crtl and right-click inside the
field then click . The variable that you select is shown in curly braces. For

- From
- You can add an email address or a variable to populate
this field in emails that use the template. To add an email address, type the email
address of the sender. The email address can be a generic system email address.To
specify a variable, press crtl and right-click in the field then click . The variable that you

variables with commas.
- Subject
- Provide the subject of the email. To specify a variable,
press crtl and right-click in the field then click . The variable that you select is shown in
curly braces. For example, {HiringManager}. Separate multiple variables with
commas.
- Body
- Specify the text of the email. This is a Rich Format Text
field that can be formatted. To specify a variable, press crtl and right-click in
the field then click . The variable that you select is shown inside curly braces.

- Attachment
- You can attach multiple files to the template. These
files are attached to any automatic or manual email that uses the template. If the
recruiter uses the template for a manual email, then the recruiter can add more
attachments or remove the template attachments.
