Groups and tasks

There are two ways to restrict a task to specific groups. If the task has a prerequisite, then you can use the same eligibility settings as the prerequisite task. To use different eligibility settings as the prerequisite or if the task does not have a prerequisite, you can assign groups to the task.

Only active custom groups can be added to a task. If a custom group is made inactive after it has been added to the task, then the task is not affected. Unused groups should be removed from the task and replaced with active groups.

• If the task audience is candidate, then only active Job Application custom groups with a subject of HCMTransitionManagementEligibility are available.
• If the task audience is resource, then only active Work Assignment custom groups with a subject of HCMTransitionManagementEligibility are available.
• If the task audience is administrative, then both active Job Application and Work Assignment groups with a subject of HCMTransitionManagementEligibility are available.
