Changing the status of an offer

This feature requires configuration of a workflow step. Change Offer Status must be enabled in the workflow step by the administrator. See Assigning automated actions to workflow steps.

You can rescind an offer at any time. In addition, if you did not use the automated Request Offer Review process to extend an offer to a candidate, you can accept or decline an offer manually when you receive a response from a candidate. If you used the Request Offer Review action, the status of the offer will be automatically updated when the candidate accepts or declines the offer online.

  1. Open the job application.
  2. Change the offer status.
    • To rescind the offer, click Actions > Rescind Offer, specify a reason, date and comments, and click OK. The status changes to Rescinded.

    • To accept the offer on behalf of the candidate, click Actions > Accept Offer specify the date the offer was accepted, and click OK. The status changes to Accepted.

    • To decline the offer on behalf of the candidate, click Actions > Decline Offer, specify the date the offer was declined, and click OK. The status changes to Declined.
