Candidate and job application import record errors
Errors can occur in the ImportCandidateXML record when candidate profiles and job applications are imported to Talent Acquisition through third-party vendors. Administrators, recruiters, and integration architects monitor and resolve record handling errors with the Recruitment Vendor Import Record on the integration dashboard. Resolution is determined by the status of a failed record:
- If a record has the status Failed, then an administrator edits the XML to correct the record. Then the status of the record updates to Handled automatically.
- If a record has the status Manual Intervention Required, then a recruiter resolves the errors in Talent Acquisition. The status of the record is not updated automatically, so an administrator must manually update status.
For example, an administrator sees a record in the list of records in Recruitment Vendor Import Records that has the status of Manual Review Required. The administrator accesses the record and sees in the Error Details field that the job posting ID is missing or is invalid. The administrator can then address the error. In this example, if a job posting exists for the requisition, then the administrator can attach the candidate to the requisition manually. When the error is resolved, an administrator updates the status of the record to Handled in the Recruitment Vendor Import Record.
