Configuring Burning Glass resume parsing
-
When logged in as an administrator, select .
-
Select an organization.
-
Click Profile Parsing.
- Specify this information:
- Resume Parsing
- Specify Burning Glass.
- Extract Other Competency And Skill Values
- Select this option to extract all competencies and skills
from the resume and load them into the candidate's profile. If this
check box is cleared, then only the competencies and skills that
match the pre-defined content in the system are loaded to the
candidate's profile.
- Send HTML Resumes via Email
- Select this option to enable recruiters to incorporate
multiple resumes in HTML format in a single email. If this option is
selected, these actions become available on the requisitions' All
tab: Mark Selected Resumes, Unmark Selected Resumes, and Send
Selected Resumes.
- Show Incomplete Candidate Profiles
- Select this check box to enable recruiters to view
incomplete registration records for a candidate in the candidate
pool. For example, if a candidate uploads a resume that fails to
parse, recruiters can access the records to assist the
candidate.
- Log Parsing Messages
- This option is used for troubleshooting purposes when parsing
resumes. A log entry is created any time there is a parsing error.
For example, a log entry is created if a parsed education record
includes a country that does not exist. In this case, the education
record is created, but a parsing messaged is issued so that you can
identify and correct the issue. When this check box is selected, the
Resources field is enabled, so you can select a
resource with administrator or recruiter administrator privileges
who receives notifications when errors are generated with a link
back to the log file.
