Adding a description to a job requisition

Only recruiters can make modifications directly to a requisition after it is in Pending status. If you are updating a newly approved requisition, then you must add the description; questions, if applicable; and the job postings.

Note: Updates are not displayed on the job boards unless the job boards are added after the updates are made. To update an unposted job board, you must open the job boards on the Postings tab and update manually, or remove the job board and add it back. To update a posted job board, you must first remove the posting, make your changes manually, then repost the job board.
  1. Select Recruiter > Requisitions.
  2. Double-click a requisition.
Note: Use the Search features to locate the requisition.
  3. Review and update the Requisition tab information. For field descriptions, see Creating requisitions
  4. To add or modify the job description, click Description.

Note: Wait until a requisition is approved and completely defined before you add job boards. Changes that you make to a requisition after job boards are added are not reflected on the job boards.
