Creating a questions task
Use this task type to send questions to candidates. The task sends questions that were
configured in the system. A questions task must be configured as one of three
question types:
- Profile: These are general, standalone questions, common to all external candidates. They are not assigned to a requisition. Profile questions are used to gather information that internal candidates have already provided, such as work eligibility or criminal history. Internal candidates do not see these questions, so questions tasks of this type are not available to internal candidates. These questions are specified at the organizational level and apply to candidates who apply to any requisition.
- Screening: Also known as requisition questions, these questions are attached to specific requisitions. If the task question type is screening, then the applicant is presented the questions that were configured for the requisition to which the task is assigned. In other words, the requisition to which the task is assigned determines the screening questions that are presented to the applicant. These questions are specified for each requisition.
- Interview: These questions are used in online interviews. Typically, they a questions task would not be of the interview type, but the option is available.
Questions can be scored as a tool to screen external candidates. If any of the profile questions is set to score, screen out, or assess requirement type, then external candidates are assessed against the questions.
Tasks can be made available to specific audiences.
