Conditional questions
Recruiters can use conditional questions to elicit additional information from candidates. A conditional question is a follow-up question that is based on the response to an initial question.
Recruiters use conditional questions to screen candidates more thoroughly and determine the candidates who are the best fit for the position.
The initial question is referred to as the parent question. Conditional questions are called child questions. The response to the parent question shows the conditional question.
Parent questions must be of the Yes No or List types. A child question cannot have a child question of its own.
If a parent question is activated or deleted, then its child questions are activated or deleted. If a parent List answer is deleted, then its associated child questions are deleted.
A child question that is answered by a candidate must remain associated with its parent. If a child question is answered by a candidate, then you cannot change the answer to its parent question.
