Defining and maintaining interview types

Interview types refer to the medium through which an interview is conducted. For example, an interview could be by phone, on site, or online.

  1. Specify Talent Acquisition > Code Setup > Interview Setup > Types.
  2. Click New.
  3. Specify these field values:
    Effective Date

    Specify the effective date for the interview type.

    Interview Type

    Specify the name of the interview type.

    Description

    Specify a description of the interview type.

    Active

    The interview type is active by default. Clear this optino to make the interview type inactive. Inactive interview types are not shown in select lists.

    Use for Online Interview Action

    Select this option if the type is used for online interviews. Only one interview type can be assigned to online interviews.

  4. Click Save.

Related tasks

  • To update an interview type, access the interview type, specify the effective date of the change, update the name or description, and click Save.

  • To inactivate an interview type, access the interview type, specify the effective date of the change, clear the Active field, and click Save.

  • To delete an interview type, highlight the interview type, click Delete, click Yes to confirm, specify the effective date, and click OK.

    Note: 

    You cannot delete an interview type that is associated with a current interview.
