Configuring job requisition synchronization rules
When you define job requisition synchronization rules, automatic synchronization occurs when job and position updates are made.
- Sign in as Administrator and select Talent Acquisition > Primary Set Up > Organization Configuration.
- Select an organization to configure.
- Double-click to open the organization.
- Select the effective date.

On the Features tab, specify this information:
- Enable Requisition Synchronization With Job And Position Updates
- Select this check box to automatically update associated job requisitions and job posting information when a job or position is updated. When this box is checked, a Configure button is shown to the right of this field.

- Click this button to open the Job Requisition Synchronization Rule page.
In the Synchronization Rule section, specify the method to update the job requisitions and job postings upon position/job update. Select one of these methods:- Automatically update upon position or job update: This automatically updates job requisitions and job postings based on the updates made in the job or the position. The changes are reflected once the job or position is saved.
- Update based on field synchronization rules: This automatically updates the job requisitions based on the field synchronization rules. When this option is selected, a View Rules button is shown. When you click View Rules, you can specify position rules and job rules. Each tab lists the fields used in the defaulting rules. Use the Cascade Updates to Job Requisition field to specify whether updates for the respective field automatically synchronize the job requisition. If you select Yes, the changes made to the field update automatically. If you select No, the changes for the respective field will not be reflected on the job postings and requisitions.
- Review updates: This notifies administrators and HR generalists of updates made in the position or job. The changes must be reviewed and approved to be shown in job requisitions.
In the Job Requisition section, choose which job requisition statuses should be updated. Select one or more of these statuses:- Draft
- Pending
- Open
- App
In the Job Posting section, choose which job posting statuses should be updated:- Not posted
- Posted
In the Notifications section, specify email templates to be used for sending email notifications depending on the scenario. Select a template for one of these scenarios:In the Alerts section, specify the number of days to display alerts for updates as follows:- Requisition updates (Administrator): Used to send emails to the Administrator or HR generalists when there are new updates for their review.
- Requisition updates (Recruiter, Hiring Manager, etc.): Used to send emails for each job requisition to the recruiter, hiring manager or others when there are updates to the job or position resulting in pending changes for review.
- Offer and hire updates: Used to notify the recruiter or hiring manager after the offer has been made to the candidate and there are updates for review.
- Recent update: Specify how many days an alert should be visible in the job requisition list for a job requisition that is updated due to a position or job update.
- Pending update: Specify how many days an alert should be visible in the job requisition list for a job requisition that has pending updates due to a position or job update.
- Click Save.
