Requisition statuses
Requisitions are created with a Draft status. After requisitions are approved, their status is Pending. Before job postings for a requisition can be created, it must have a status of Open.
The requisition status denotes its stage in the creation, approval, and hiring process:
- Draft - The requisition has been started but was not finished.
- Approval Requested - The requisition is in a draft status and has been submitted for approval.
- Pending - The requisition has been approved.
- Open - The requisition has been opened from a Pending status. Postings for this requisition can be created on job boards.
- On-Hold - The requisition has been put on-hold. Job postings associated with requisitions in On-Hold status are removed from the job boards, but can be opened again.
- Filled - A candidate has been hired for the requisition. Changes to the requisition can no longer be mad. Job postings for the requisition can be removed and the requisition can be closed.
- Cancelled - The requisition has been cancelled and the job postings for the requisition have been removed.
- Closed - The requisition has been closed because the position has been filled. Requisitions in a Filled status can be closed.
