Adding a pay rate or allowance variable

  1. Select Transition Management > Setup > Variable Configuration.
  2. Click Create.
  3. Specify this information:
    Variable
    Specify the variable.
  4. Click in the text field, click the vertical ellipsis in the lower right-side corner of the text field, select Text Variable Replacement, and select a value. The values that are available to be added to the variable depend on the variable type that you specify. In other words, values that are available for the allowance type variables differ from values that are available for the pay-rate type variables. You can add multiple values.
  5. Click Save.
