Configuring HTML resume generation

This feature works only for the Burning Glass resume parser. Customers who have implemented either Talemetry or Burning Glass can generate or re-generate resumes individually. Recruiters can perform this function from the Resume tab of the candidate page. See The recruiter's Requisitions view with configurable hiring workflow.

With implementations that use Burning Glass resume parsing, administrators can manually parse multiple resumes. This feature is useful when candidates submitted resumes before Burning Glass was enabled for the organization. This utility generates HTML resumes for all candidates who have resumes in the system. This utility is especially helpful to generate HTML resumes for internal candidates.

  1. Sign in as Administrator and select Talent Acquisition > Primary Set Up > Organization Configuration.
  2. Open an organization.
  3. Click Profile Parsing.
  4. Verify that the Resume Parsing field is set to Burning Glass.
  5. Click Generate HTML Resumes.
  6. Specify this information:
    Organization
    To run the utility for a single organization, specify the organization here.
    Run For All Organizations
    To run the utility for all organizations in the system, select this option.
    Application Date Greater Than or Equal to
    You can limit the number of resumes for which HTML is generated by specifying a date. For example, to parse resumes that are associated only with applications within the past six months, specify a date six months prior to the present date. It is recommended that you limit the number of resumes that are processed.
  7. Click Submit.
