Adding questions to a requisition
Recruiters can define and add questions to a job requisition.
- Click Requisitions.
- Select and open a requisition.
- Click Interviews.
- On the Questions section, click Create

Specify this information:
- Question
- Provide the question to the candidate.
- Active
- Clear this check box if the recruiting question is inactive. Inactive recruiting questions are not displayed in some lists.
- Show When Parent Question
- Select this option to show all Yes No and List type questions that you can use as a parent question.
- Show When Answer Of Parent Question
- Specify the answer that shows the child questions during the application process.
- Display Order
- Specify a number to indicate where in the order of questions this question is displayed to candidates.
- Response Type

Specify the type of response that is expected. Additional options are available, depending on the response type.
For example, if you select the Yes No option, then you can select the preferred answer. If you select the List option, then the candidate can select an answer from a list of options. If you select the Multi-select option, then the candidate can select more than one answer from a list of options. You must specify the available answers to the candidate on the Answers tab.
- Require Follow Up Text If Answer Is
- Specify the follow-up text that the
candidate must specify for a specific response.
For example, if you select No, then the candidate must add follow-up text to a No answer.
This field is displayed if you select the Yes No Text response type. If the question is used to screen out candidates, then specify the Require Follow Up Text If Answer Is field.
- Include In Application?

Select this check box to allow candidates see the question when they apply. Leave this check box blank to store the question on the job application for subsequent interviews.
- Requirement Question
- Select this check box if the candidate's response is used to
determine if the candidate meets or exceeds requirements for the position.
This check box is displayed if you select the Include In Application? check box. If you select this check box, then the candidate's response is required and you cannot clear the Is A Response Required check box.
Before administrators can set up the requirement questions to specific questions, they must enable and configure the requirement questions to their organization.
You can set up requirement questions with Yes/No, List, or Multi-select questions.
To set up a requirement question with multi-select questions, select the Multi Select option and select the Requirement Question check box.
- Is This A Screen Out Question?

Select this check box if the question is used to screen out candidates and specify a preferred answer in Choose The Preferred Answer. Only Yes No, Yes No Text, and List questions are used to screen out candidates.
This check box is displayed if you select the Include In Application? check box.
- Choose The Preferred Answer
- Select the preferred answer to a question that is used to screen out candidates and with Yes No or Yes No Text response types.
- Is A Response Required?

Select this check box to require the candidates to respond to the question.
To complete the job application, candidates must provide answers to the questions that are required.
- Use For Internal, External, Or Both?
- Select the type of candidates who can see the question.
- Score If Answer Is Yes
- If the response type is Yes No or Yes No Text, then specify the numeric value that the candidate earns when or Yes is specified.
- Score If Answer Is No
- If the response type is Yes No or Yes No Text, then specify the numeric value that the candidate earns when No is specified.
- Requirement Type
- If the question is a requirement question, then select if
the candidate meets or exceeds the minimum requirements for
submitting this answer.
Leave the requirement type to blank if the answer of the candidate does not meet or exceed the minimum requirements.
- Click Submit.
