Enabling auto create requisition upon vacated position

There are two considerations for administrators who are enabling this feature. First, you must specify a default recruiter when the feature is enabled. The best practice is to specify a recruiter administrator in a position with low turnover. The default recruiter can be overridden on an application at the employee level, but it cannot be overridden at the work employee work assignment.

Second, if the multiple approvers feature is enabled at the organization level, approver templates must be specified. Examples of approver templates are requisition approver templates, offer approver templates or hire-type action approver templates.

When this feature is enabled, the auto create requisition is feature is available on certain action forms. When it is disabled, the auto create requisition is feature is not available.

  1. Select Talent Acquisition > Primary Setup > Organization Configuration.
  2. Double-click an organization.
  3. Click Features.
  4. Specify this information:
    Enable Auto Create Requisition Upon Vacated Position
    Select this field to enable the feature.
    Configure
    Specify when the auto-create job requisition occurs; upon approval or effective date.
    Default Recruiter For Auto Create Requisition
    Specify the default recruiter.
  5. Click Save.
