High potential resources

In Succession Management, you can use an indicator of potential to identify high potential resources. You can define indicators of potential for your organization, and then assign one of the indicators to a resource. At the organization level, you can set up an alert to identify high potential resources. If a resource has a potential at or above the level that is defined for the organization, an alert is displayed on the resource's record.

You can also assign a measure of potential to a resource on Manage Resources. The measure of potential is a numeric value that is independent of the indicator of potential.

An administrator or HR generalist can assign an indicator or measure of potential to a resource. A resource manager can not see these values on their profile.
