Career path
Jobs that are defined in Infor HR Talent can be included in a carrer path for Succession Management. A career path defines a relationship among jobs within an organization and is defined by the generalist. For any job, you can define feeder jobs that are logical predecessors for the job. You can also create a job path for which the given job is a logical predecessor. For example, the senior manager job can be fed by the manager job, and can also feed into the director job.
A job can be a feeder for more than one other job and can be included in more than one job path. A typical career path contains five to eight jobs.
