Managing follow-up tasks for a specific employee
You must have the Safety Administrator or Facility Manager role to
edit the incident record.
- Sign in as Health & Safety Management or Health & Safety Facility Management.
- Select Safety Management > Safety Incidents or Safety Management > Near Miss Incidents.
- Open the incident record.
- Click the Employee Cases tab.

Open the row for the employee case.
If there are no associated employee cases, then you can create one. See Viewing or adding an employee who was impacted.

Click the Follow Up Tasks tab.
These panes display active assignments to this employee for this incident: Follow Up Tasks, Activities, and Health Components. Assignments that are nearing or past their due date are flagged in the Due Date column.
This information is also displayed on the Follow Up Tasks tab within the safety profile for the employee.
Health-component tasks are also listed on the assignment record for the employee, which is available at Occupational Health > Monitor Health Components > Employees.
- Optionally, click Create Follow Up or Create from Template to add a task.
- Optionally, click the check box in the Completed column on the Follow Up Tasks pane.

Optionally, open the row for an assignment to edit it.
For example, you can extend the due date of the follow-up task, activity, or health component.
