Redefining a follow-up task as a corrective action

  1. Sign in as Health & Safety Management.
  2. Select Safety Management > Safety Incidents.
    Or,

    Select Safety Management > Near Misses.

  3. On the Active tab, select the incident record.
  4. Click the Update action.
    This action is sometimes located within More Actions (ellipsis).
  5. On the Follow Up Action tab, double-click a row in the Follow Up pane to open the appropriate record.
    The Incident Follow Up page is displayed.
  6. On the Details tab, select the Corrective Action check box.
  7. Optionally, in the Incident Cause field, select the situation that required this corrective action.
    You can create a cause if a suitable one is not available.

  8. Click Save.
    The follow-up task is now listed with a Yes in the Corrective Action column on the Follow Up Tasks tab.
