Uploading document templates for resources

You must create and save the document template in RTF format on your machine or on a shared server before you can attach the template to Talent Acquisition. The template is uploaded and it is available to administrators and HR generalists to create documents.

  1. Select Administrator > Set Up > Resource Components > Resource Document Templates.
  2. Click Create and specify this information:
    Effective Date
    Specify the effective date for the document template.
    Document Template
    Specify the name of the template.
    Description
    Optionally, specify a description of the template. If left blank, the document template name is used.
    Preferred Document Language
    If your organization uses Dynamic Embedded Translation (DET), you can select whether the document should be translated to the employee's language. If you do not select a preferred language, the company base language is used.
    Active
    The template is active by default. Clear this check box to make the template inactive. Inactive templates are not displayed on select lists.
    Template File
    Browse to the template file to attach, and double-click the file.
    Mime Type
    When you attach the file, the file type is displayed in this field. For RTF files, the type is application/rtf.
  3. Click Save.
