Pay rate override

Administrators can override the pay rate. This action sets the override flag to Yes and the alternate rate, work assignment rate, or add on rate is not used.

• If the override flag is set to Yes, an update to work assignment pay rate does not change time record pay rate.
• If the override flag is set to No, a change to work assignment pay rate updates the affected time record pay rates.
• The override flag is set to No in these situations:
  • The work assignment rate is updated to the same pay rate as the time record.
  • The time record pay rate is not specified or blanked out.
  • The specified time record rate is the same rate as the default rate.
