Purging employee time records

A set of records can be purged from EmployeeTimerecord. This purge process can be used to delete time records when an incorrect file of time record data is imported into Infor HR Talent. For example, purging last week’s time record file that was imported again this week by mistake.

Use the purge actions with caution. Purged records are permanently removed from the database.

These are the business rules for purging time records:

  • Time records are purged that have a status = closed and type = 0.
  • Time records that originated from Absence Time Off Requests, Absence Payouts or Benefits are not purged.
  • Related Absence Service Records are purged if they have not yet been closed in Absence Management.
  • Offset time records are purged if the related Exception time record is purged.

  1. Select Time Administrator > Interface > Mass Purge.
  2. Specify this information:
    Time Record Dates
    Specify the beginning and ending dates for the date range of the time records to purge.
    Payment Schedule
    Not required. Select payment schedules to identify the records to purge.
    Eligibility Group
    Not required. Select the Eligibility Group, which is a custom group based on Work Assignment with Subject of HCMGroupEmployeeTimeRecordInterface.
    Delete Prior Errors
    Select this check box to delete errors from previous mass purge actions when submitting new mass purge actions.
  3. Click OK to run immediately, or Schedule to run at a specified time.
