Creating gender identities

In some countries or localities, your organization may be required to track gender identity for non-discriminatory purposes.

  1. Select Administrator > Set Up > Resource Components > Personal Information > Gender Identity.
  2. Click Create, and specify this information:
    Gender Identity
    Required. Specify the gender identity name.
    Description
    Specify a description for the gender identity. If left blank, the gender identity name defaults.
    Active
    The gender identity is active by default. Clear the check box to inactivate it.
  3. Click Save.
