Creating employment contract reasons

Employment contract reasons are reasons why a contract must be created.

Note: 

Amended contracts use action reasons.

  1. Select Administrator > Set Up > Employment Contract Components > Reasons.
  2. Click Create, and specify this information:
    Effective Date

    Required. Select the date on which the contract reason is effective.

    Contract Reason

    Required. Specify the name of the contract reason.

    Description

    Specify a description for the contract reason.

    Active

    The contract reason is active by default. Clear the check box to make the contract reason inactive.

  3. Click Save.
