Resignation processing

An employee, the employee's manager, or the HR administrator can initiate a resignation. The resignation notifications are routed for approval, rejection, or returned. Approvers receive resignation notifications in their inbaskets.

  • If initiated by the employee, the notification is routed to the employee’s manager and then to the HR administrator.
  • If initiated by the direct manager on behalf of the employee, the notification is routed to the HR administrator only.
  • If initiated by the HR administrator on behalf of the employee, the notification is routed to the direct manager only.
