Creating resignation reasons

Resignation reasons must be created to use the resignation action.

  1. To set up resignation reasons, navigate to Administrator > Set Up > Resource Components > Personal Information > Resignation Reasons.
  2. Click Create.
  3. Specify this information:
    Effective Date

    This field is required. Specify the first date when this resignation reason will be available for selection by users.

    Resignation Reason

    This field is required. Specify a name for the reason. For example, PERSONAL, RELOCATING.

    Description

    Specify a description. If left blank, the reason name defaults.

    Active

    Select this check box to make the reason active. Clear the check box to inactivate it.

  4. Click Save.
