Assigning pay rates to a pay class

Administrators can assign an add-on flat amount, add-on percentage, and add-on alternate rate to a pay class.

Add-ons can also be assigned to all pay codes or to an individual pay code.

  1. Create an add-on pay summary group if one does not exist.
  2. Create an add-on pay class if one does not exist.
  3. Associate the add-on pay class with the add-on pay summary group.
  4. Create add-on pay codes.
  5. Set up the employee to receive the add-on amount, percentage, or alternate rate. Select a type of ADDON, select a category, and specify a pay rate or percentage.
