Creating legal establishments

If your organization is configured for US only, you cannot select legal establishments on organization units.

Although legal entities are available to all configurations, legal establishments are available only to organizations that are configured for France or multiple countries.

  1. Select Payroll Administrator > Setup > Legal Entities.
    or

    Select Administrator > Set Up > Structure > Legal Entities.

  2. Highlight the legal entity for which to define a legal establishment.
  3. In the Legal Establishments section, click Create.
  4. On the Legal Establishment screen, specify this information:
    Effective Date
    Select the date on which the legal establishment takes effect.
    Legal Establishment
    Specify the name of the legal establishment.
    Description
    Optionally, provide a description for the legal establishment.
    Legal Establishment Number
    Optionally, specify the unique identifier for the legal establishment. For example, the SIREN number.
    Industry
    For France only. Specify the legal establishment's industry code.
    Headquarters
    Select this check box if this legal establishment is the headquarters for the legal entity. Only one legal establishment can be selected as the headquarters.
    Location
    Select the legal establishment's location, and specify the address.
    Tax Provider Company
    Select the tax provider company.
  5. Click Save.
