Configuring cross references for one-time deduction import

There are several options for configuring cross-reference values for one-time deduction import:

  • No cross-reference mappings are required. All key values in the CSV refer to HCM key values.
  • HRM cross-reference mappings for employees are already set up. You can use these mappings for one-time deduction import.
  • Cross-reference mappings do not exist but can be created for use with one-time deduction impor.

Use this procedure to create cross reference mappings when they do not exist.

  1. Select Process Server Administrator > Configuration > System Configuration.
  2. In the Configuration Name column, open main.
  3. In the Property Name column, open LTM_OneTimeDeductionImport _SourceSystem.
    • The Value defaults to OneTimeDeduction. We recommend this value for defining new mappings.
    • To use existing mappings that are defined for HRM, update the Value field to HRM.
  4. Select Process Server Administrator > Configuration > Cross Reference.
    • Cross-reference codes are provided for establishing new mappings instead of using existing HRM mappings. Values must be defined manually to look up specific values for these codes:
      • HROrganization
      • Employee
      • DeductionCode
      • BenefitPlan
      • Currency
    • If the value in the LTM_OneTimeDeductionImport_ SourceSystem property is HRM, it may be helpful to update some of the Source values to HRM. For example, DeductionCode values are defined even though no HRM DeductionCode values were defined before.
