Generating federal quarterly tax returns

Use these steps to extract data, combine it with configurable fields data, and produce federal form 941 and its related schedule B.

  1. Select Payroll Administrator > Regulatory Reporting > Federal Quarterly Reporting > Federal Quarterly Tax Returns.
  2. Click Generate Federal Tax Return.
  3. Specify this information:
    Payroll Year
    Specify the payroll year for the federal quarterly tax return. For example, 2023.
    Quarter
    Specify the quarter for the federal quarterly tax return. Select First, Second, Third, or Fourth.
    Run Option
    Select Report All or Legal Entity.
    Legal Entity
    If you selected Legal Entity as the Run Option, specify a legal entity.
  4. Optionally, specify information in the Designee, Signer, and Preparer sections.
  5. Click Submit.
