Tax numbers

When you define a tax number, you establish a tax ID number for each legal entity within a tax authority. Optionally, you can specify an employer account number.

If multiple locations exist for a legal entity that has different employer account numbers or experience ratings, a legal establishment may also be specified.

Before tax ID numbers can be established, you must first complete these items:

• Tax Authorities must be defined.
• A Legal Entity must be configured.
• If required, Legal Establishments must be selected on the organization's country configuration and defined for the legal entity.
