Pay structure setup

The payroll structure elements determine the structure that HR Payroll uses to calculate pay for your company's employees, including overtime pay. Payroll structure elements also determine where pay is expensed and where pay history is stored.

To create the payroll structure, create these elements:

• Pay codes
• Pay summary groups
• Pay classes
• Pay summary group relations
