Adjusting responsibility weights

If a section uses weighted responsibilities, ensure that all of the responsibilities for a given position are weighted. Ensure that the total of the weights is equal to the section weight.

  1. Select Administrator > Performance > Appraisal Forms.
  2. On the Forms tab, open the appraisal form.
  3. Open a Criteria section to view responsibility weights. If the total responsibility weights for a position do not equal the section weight, the Total Responsibility Weight field is flagged with a red alarm.
  4. To adjust the responsibility weights individually:
    1. Right-click the position and select Update.
    2. Adjust weights individually on the form and click Save.
  5. To distribute weights evenly among responsibilities:
    1. Right-click the responsibility and select Distribute Weight Evenly. A warning is displayed about overriding any weights that were already specified for the responsibilities.
    2. Click Yes to confirm. All of the responsibilities are assigned the same weight. Any rounding adjustment is posted to the first responsibility. You can still change the weights on the form.
